Expat

Can expats buy property in Dubai?
Yes. Expatriates and foreign nationals can purchase property in designated freehold zones in Dubai — including Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah, Business Bay, JVC, and Dubai Hills Estate. Expat buyers receive a Title Deed from the Dubai Land Department, giving them full legal ownership.

Fees

What is the DLD Transfer Fee and who pays it?
The Dubai Land Department charges a Transfer Fee of 4% of the property value, payable at the time of ownership transfer. Typically, the buyer pays 4% plus a small admin fee. This fee applies to both ready and off-plan properties. On top of this, there is a Title Deed issuance fee of AED 250.

Ownership

What is the difference between Freehold and Leasehold in Dubai?
Freehold ownership allows any nationality to purchase property and own it outright with no time restriction in designated freehold zones. Leasehold ownership grants the right to use a property for a fixed period, typically up to 99 years, without full ownership of the land. Non-UAE nationals can only purchase in designated freehold areas.

Rera

What is RERA Dubai and how does it protect buyers?
RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Agency) is the regulatory arm of the Dubai Land Department (DLD). It licenses real estate brokers, regulates developers, and oversees all property transactions in Dubai. All projects above a certain size must be registered with RERA. Every listing on our portal displays the RERA registration number for full transparency.

Sellers

How do I list my property on our portal?
Click on "List Your Property" in the top menu, fill in your property details, upload photos, and submit. Our RERA-registered team will verify and publish your listing typically within 24 hours.

Visa

What is the UAE Golden Visa and how does property help?
The UAE Golden Visa is a long-term residency visa (5–10 years, renewable). Property owners who purchase real estate worth AED 2 million or more are eligible to apply for a 10-year Golden Visa. Off-plan properties may also qualify if the purchase price meets the threshold.
